From the Commander
Since chartering in 2004, Daugherty-Hamilton American Legion Post 234 has been one of the fastest-growing Posts in Wisconsin. We make a difference in the lives of veterans, currently serving troops, and our community.
Meetings are informative and welcoming, with 30+ members typically attending. Our yearly activities include:
- Americanism & Government testing and Oratorical contest
- Memorial Day procession and observance ceremony
- Annual golf outing in May
- One of the largest July 4th parades in Wisconsin
- Annual Sheepshead & Kids Fisheree July
- Annual summer picnic for Post members and families
- Veterans Day programs with local schools & Omro Care Center
We are proud to have veterans from all Six branches among our members. Our honor/color guard participates in parades and performs funeral honors. If you are a veteran, please join us!
