From the Commander

Since chartering in 2004, Daugherty-Hamilton American Legion Post 234 has been one of the fastest-growing Posts in Wisconsin. We make a difference in the lives of veterans, currently serving troops, and our community.

Meetings are informative and welcoming, with 30+ members typically attending. Our yearly activities include:

  • Americanism & Government testing and Oratorical contest
  • Memorial Day procession and observance ceremony
  • Annual golf outing in May
  • One of the largest July 4th parades in Wisconsin
  • Annual Sheepshead & Kids Fisheree July
  • Annual summer picnic for Post members and families
  • Veterans Day programs with local schools & Omro Care Center

We are proud to have veterans from all six branches among our members. Our honor/color guard participates in parades and performs funeral honors. If you are a veteran, please join us!
